Before studying for my fashion degree I had to go through an Art & Design course at Wimbledon College of Art, part of the University of the Arts London.
This is because a degree in Fashion typically requires some skills or understanding of various art techniques.
To that end, I’ve decided to add some helpful blog posts to my website that cover a variety of art and design areas, so that you can feel more confident in your abilities before applying for a fashion design program.
These art and design guides and tutorials are also helpful as a research angle – when we design fashion collections, we use visual research to help us create more unique designs – but anyone not studying fashion may also find them helpful to work through.
